Kaiser Permanente Ontario is one of the anchor institutional healthcare campus development assets in California’s Inland Empire.
The 24-acre master-planned campus on Vineyard Avenue delivers a full continuum of acute, ambulatory, and outpatient care to a service area approaching half a million Kaiser Permanente real estate members across San Bernardino County.

The campus opened its 386,000-square-foot, 224-bed hospital in 2011, an OSHPD hospital construction program built under Kaiser Permanente’s national template delivery model. The standard is engineered to flex with changing clinical practice while meeting California’s most rigorous OSHPD seismic and life-safety requirements. Surrounding the hospital, the campus includes a four-story, 131,000-square-foot medical office building with a basement-level radiation therapy center housing linear accelerators and CT imaging, an 11,000-square-foot central plant and IT building, and a 55,000-square-foot outpatient surgery center.

Kaiser Permanente Ontario represents the highest tier of Inland Empire healthcare development discipline. Large-acreage master planning, OSHPD-grade construction, multi-tenant clinical programming, and capital execution at a scale that only the largest institutional healthcare operators in the country undertake. Few asset categories require more sustained partnership between developer and operator. Few produce more durable community impact, and few demand a deeper commitment to long-term asset stewardship across the full lifecycle of the campus.
